For those grooved bearings, the effective wall thickness shall be considered without the depth of the groove. To reduce the theme expansion and water absorption, the bearing thickness can be designed less than the recommended value. In this case, interference on bearing OD need to be increased to ensure proper installation. Too small thickness can not be accepted for interference fit. Consult A&Z for other installation method, such as bonding.
